The City Government of Lamitan has blazed the trail for Human Resource Management in the Public Sector having been conferred the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Bronze Award by the Civil Service Commission (CSC). The City Government of Lamitan is the only government agency in the ARMM Region and among the forty three (43) government agencies nationwide to be formally awarded on July 20, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center, Davao City during the Public Sector HR Symposium.
This award confirms that the City Government of Lamitan is compliant with the Level 2- Maturity Indicators in the System, Practices, and Competencies of the HRM core systems: Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Performance Management; Learning and Development; and Rewards and Recognition.
PRIME-HRM is a banner program of the CSC that aims to successfully transform the agencies’ HRM system, competencies, and practices to elevate public sector HR to a level of excellence for good governance and for efficient and effective public service delivery. The award grants an authority to approve appointments, subject to post audit of CSC.
